You will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the Software Engineering group, within a team of professors and passionate scientists. This group enjoys high visibility on the Swiss and international scenes and is active in applied research projects in interaction with cutting-edge industries in the field. You will directly assist the responsible professors for the following missions: MAIN MISSIONS Participate in the realization of applied research and development work (R&D) for the IICT institute, particularly in the field of full stack web application development in Java and the modernization of J2EE applications. Participate in teaching tasks of the department: help with course preparation, supervision, and preparation of practical work. Participate in the management and maintenance of the research entity's infrastructure. Participate in administrative management and any other activity necessary for the proper functioning of the department and the research entity. DESIRED PROFILE Title from a Higher Education institution or equivalent title Good knowledge of full stack web development Mastery of Java and SQL Knowledge of Angular front-end, Spring framework, and JakartaEE/J2EE technologies is a plus. Excellent communication skills and sense of contact Sense of organization and detail, customer and result-oriented Ability to work with external partners Autonomy, structured work, and good analytical skills Mastery of English, in addition to French.
