Assistant HES Academic in Software and IA Systems The HEIG-VD is advertising the position of Assistant HES Academic in Software and IA Systems With the rise of IA, made possible by its new capabilities, the way is now open to explore innovative ways of using it, both in the industrial sector and in the academic environment. How to get the best out of existing public models while preserving sovereignty? What are the best tools and methods for using IA-based software solutions and adapting them to each field? We address these questions and other related ones in the context of a portfolio of applied research projects carried out in collaboration with academic and industrial partners. We are looking for a research engineer to design and build software by, for and with IA workloads, ranging from Kubernetes operators and custom schedulers to inference pipelines and monitoring systems. You will rigorously evaluate your work and co-author articles, as part of a motivated team to drive innovations in various institutions. The projects vary in terms of scope and orientation, but their essence remains the same: writing quality production code and defending it with data.
