Fullstack Java Software DevOps Engineer # (m/w/d) freelance/in temporary employment for a project Bern Start date: 08/26 Reference number: 884822/1 Project information ### • No sub-contracting possible, exclusively personnel leasing through Hays (Schweiz) Tasks ### • Development and further development of modern frontend and backend applications based on Java technologies • Analysis, conception and implementation of sustainable solutions in cooperation with departments and IT architecture • Collaboration in an agile DevOps team throughout the entire software lifecycle • Development and integration of microservices using Java, Spring Boot and Kafka • Ensuring a stable, performant and secure application operation • Automation of deployments and infrastructure processes with Terraform, Kubernetes and AWS • Collaboration on optimizing existing applications as well as identifying new technical solution approaches • Implementation of CI/CD principles and promotion of a modern DevOps culture • Conducting error analyses and troubleshooting in productive operation • Active participation in shaping architecture, technology and development standards Profile ### • Completed training or further education in computer science, software development or a comparable field • Experience in developing Java applications • In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring Boot and Kafka • Experience with cloud and container technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes and Terraform • Good knowledge of handling GitHub and modern CI/CD processes • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases • Analytical, solution-oriented and structured way of working • Good German and English language skills in word and writing • Experience with agile working methods such as Scrum, SAFe or Kanban • Team-oriented personality with pronounced DevOps mindset and high self-responsibility Benefits ### • Responsible and varied activity in a technically exciting environment • Access to the latest technologies and tools • Remote possibility
