Senior DevOps Engineer AWS

• IT - Software Engineering • Bern • Contracting • Part-time, 80-100% • 13.07.2026 - 31.12.2026 (with option to extend) • DevOps, AWS, Cloud, Shell Script Your tasks: • Operation, maintenance and continuous development of the DevOps toolchain (including Bitbucket, Artifactory, Jenkins and Docker) • Development and maintenance of Infrastructure-as-Code solutions with AWS CDK and TypeScript • Development of AWS Lambda functions and cloud-based automation solutions • Setup, operation and optimization of modern CI/CD and GitOps pipelines • Provision and further development of automated release and deployment pipelines including auditing • Ensuring continuous updates and deployments with minimal or no downtime • Operation and further development of AWS infrastructures with a focus on EC2, VPC and Auto Scaling Group (ASG) architectures • Monitoring and performance monitoring of systems • Consulting and supporting agile development teams in the use of infrastructure and software solutions • Collaboration in agile teams according to Scrum and Kanban • Occasional assumption of on-call duties (on-call service) Your profile: • Several years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Engineer or in a comparable function • Very good knowledge of Git as well as modern branching and pull request concepts • In-depth cloud knowledge and long-term practical experience with AWS • Very good knowledge of AWS architectures, especially EC2, VPC and Auto Scaling Groups • Very good knowledge in the field of Shell Scripting • Experience in software engineering with TypeScript • Experience in setting up and operating CI/CD environments • Knowledge of Prometheus and Grafana is an advantage • Experience in collaborating with distributed or remote teams • Team-oriented personality with pleasure in collaborating in agile environments • Negotiation-secure German language skills are mandatory, good English language skills
