Zollikofen, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% What you can contribute • Design and operate highly available and business-critical Kubernetes clusters based on Red Hat OpenShift, and continuously develop them throughout their lifecycle • Automate infrastructure, platform services, and operational processes using GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code, and integrate them into network, storage, and security architectures • Design, integrate, and develop new features for the platform such as service mesh, eBPF, hosted control planes, GPU technologies, and connections to self-service interfaces and FinOps • Develop observability, logging, and security capabilities, validate platform features using performance and regression tests, and keep technical concepts up to date • Analyze and resolve incidents across the platform, advise partners and customers, and ensure stable operation in collaboration with the 24/7 on-call team <br /> What makes you unique • Higher education in computer science (HES, bachelor or master) or equivalent training, several years of experience in platform engineering, operation, and development of container management environments • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift, Linux, CI/CD, GitOps, and automation, and, ideally, knowledge of Go, Python, Bash, Ansible, ArgoCD, Tekton or comparable tools • Extensive understanding of observability, virtualization, networking, storage, security, interface integration, and data center automation in an enterprise environment • Experience with DevOps and with the integration of ITIL services and processes, a structured, autonomous way of working showing a high degree of responsibility, a taste for complex technical challenges, and ease in relations with stakeholders • Good knowledge of two official languages and, ideally, English <br /> In a few words Shape the strategic container management platform of the federal administration!
