Senior Software Engineer Backend (w/m/d) Your tasks As a Senior Software Engineer in the area of Product Development, you are responsible for the implementation and continuous further development of functions that improve the shopping experience You develop new features together in a team, implement technical innovations and ensure that our software remains user-friendly, performant and scalable You take care of the technical infrastructure of your area of responsibility, monitor the systems and ensure a stable and reliable operation You work closely with other engineers as well as colleagues from your team to realize customer-oriented solutions You feel comfortable in an agile, experimental environment and like to contribute your own ideas to steadily improve our platform Your skills You have a higher professional education in the field of computer science (ETH/UNI/FH) You are an expert with one or more technologies from our tech stack: .NET (C#), EF Core, relational & non-relational databases (SQL, MongoDB) and cloud technologies (Azure) You have at least 5 years of experience in object-oriented software development Experience with Domain Driven Design, distributed systems and messaging is an advantage Holistic thinking and a strong sense for sustainable, scalable solutions, combined with a hands-on mentality Recognizing potential for improvement and implementing changes to increase productivity and effectiveness You communicate confidently in dealing with various stakeholders - also at management level Willingness to learn, curiosity and the ability to familiarize yourself with new topics and technologies The ability to adapt to continuous changes in the working environment Confident communication in German or English Why start with us?
