Zollikofen, Switzerland (and home office) \| 80-100% This is the contribution you can make • Responsible for container-based cloud services (e.g., PostgreSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Valkey, Vault, Keycloak) across all phases of the lifecycle within an agile and interdisciplinary DevOps team • Analyze service architecture with regard to stability, high availability, reliability and performance, as well as optimize monitoring, logging and alerting • Follow current technological trends and develop proposals and guidelines for the strategic orientation of the services to be used • Advise and support customers and ensure know-how transfer to employees <br /> What makes you unique • Higher education (ETH/Uni/FH) in computer science with a focus on software/system engineering or comparable training • Expertise in the use of databases and stateful services on Kubernetes, as well as in the development of services in the provider environment; product certification (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) is an advantage • Several years of experience in the areas of systems engineering or software development, knowledge in one or more programming and scripting languages (e.g., Golang, Python, Bash) • Enthusiasm for new technologies, software development and cloud, independent and efficient way of working, flexibility and willingness to constantly develop further • Knowledge of a second official language in speaking and writing as well as good English skills <br /> In a nutshell Do you know how to keep a wild herd of pods, StatefulSets and Persistent Volumes in check and would you like to bring your sound Kubernetes knowledge to an agile, motivated DevOps team?
