Zollikofen, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% This is your contribution • Design, operate and continuously develop high-availability and business-critical Kubernetes clusters based on RedHat OpenShift as part of the lifecycle • Automate infrastructure, platform services and operating processes with GitOps, CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure-as-Code, and integrate them into network, storage and security architectures • Conceive, integrate and develop new platform functions such as Service Mesh, eBPF, Hosted Control Planes, GPU technologies, self-service and FinOps connections • Expand observability, logging and security capabilities, validate platform capabilities with performance and regression tests and keep technical concepts up to date • Analyze and resolve disruptions across the entire platform, advise partners and customers and ensure stable operation together with the team in the 7x24 on-call service <br /> This makes you unique • Higher education in computer science (FH, BSc/MSc) or equivalent experience as well as several years of practice in platform engineering, operation and the further development of container management environments • Sound knowledge of Kubernetes or RedHat OpenShift, Linux, CI/CD, GitOps and automation; experience with Go, Python, Bash, Ansible, ArgoCD, Tekton or comparable tools is an advantage • Broad understanding of observability, virtualization, network, storage, security, interface integration and datacenter automation in the enterprise environment • Experience with DevOps, service integration and ITIL processes; structured, independent way of working with high operational responsibility, enjoyment of complex technical challenges and confident handling of stakeholders • Good knowledge of the second official language and English skills are an advantage <br /> In a nutshell Actively help shape the strategic container management platform of the Federal Administration.
