Zollikofen, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • Take responsibility for container-based cloud services (e.g., PostgreSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Valkey, Vault, Keycloak) during all stages of the lifecycle within an agile and interdisciplinary DevOps team • Analyze service architecture in terms of stability, high availability, reliability, and performance, and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting • Observe current technology trends and develop proposals and guides for strategic alignment of services to be used • Advise and support customers as well as ensure the transfer of expertise to employees <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Higher education (ETH, university, UAS) in computer science with a specialization in software engineering or systems engineering, or equivalent training • Expertise in using databases and Stateful services on Kubernetes as well as in the development of services in the provider environment with, ideally, a product certification (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) • Several years of experience in the fields of systems engineering or software development, and knowledge of one or more programming and scripting languages (e.g., Golang, Python, Bash) • Keen interest in new technologies, software development, and the cloud, ability to work autonomously and efficiently, flexibility, and willingness to continuously improve yourself • Knowledge of a second official language orally and in writing and good knowledge of English <br /> In a few words You master << Pods >>, << StatefulSets >> and << Persistent Volumes >> and you want to bring your solid knowledge of Kubernetes to an agile and motivated DevOps team?
