Senior Backend Engineer NodeJS / TypeScript "- Genève Our client, an independent private banking institution in Geneva (approx. 320 employees, specializing in wealth management), is strengthening its development team as part of a major technological redesign. The context You will join the team in charge of the card management system (credit, debit, virtual): transaction processing, ordering and manufacturing, reconciliation. Part of the platform, currently in PHP/Symfony, is being rewritten to NodeJS. You will analyze existing components to design and implement their Node equivalents, in collaboration with architects and tech leads. 100% backend position. NodeJS is used there on the server side, in complex environments, with high security constraints and multi-database (PostgreSQL, DB2, SQL Server). Your profile • Minimum 7 years of experience in backend development • Excellent mastery of the NodeJS and TypeScript ecosystem • Good mastery of the PHP/Symfony ecosystem • Excellent knowledge of SOLID, DDD and CQRS principles • API design: OpenAPI, REST, GraphQL • Microservices and event-driven architecture; messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and asynchronous delivery patterns • CI/CD (GitLab or equivalent), Docker, SQL and ORM, Git • Engineering degree in computer science or equivalent • Fluent French, English B2 (exchanges with international sites) A plus: experience in the card domain or the banking and financial sector.
