As an Application Engineer, you take responsibility for the stable operation and further development of business-critical applications – with a focus on end-to-end analysis, technical excellence and high personal responsibility. What is your scope for design? You analyze, implement and maintain complex application landscapes on Unix and Windows systems – with a clear focus on stability and efficiency. You investigate error patterns and processes end-to-end, whether via REST APIs, databases or scripts, and find solutions even across system boundaries. You automate manual activities by creating professional Unix-based scripts and thereby ensuring smooth, efficient operation. You use your expertise in Unix/scripting and partly SQL. You accompany applications through the entire lifecycle, from requirements to stable operation – with an eye for the big picture. You take on technical responsibility, actively and independently drive your topics forward and act as a competent contact person for specialist departments, developers and operations teams. What do you bring with you? Knowledge of REST APIs, especially in the analysis and connection of services Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working. You bring several years of experience in Application Engineering – ideally in a banking environment. You enjoy working hands-on, take responsibility and bring a high technical affinity.
