We are looking for a: Backend Software Engineer (kDrive) You are a proactive, responsible, curious geek, passionate about Web technologies. Context: Infomaniak develops kDrive, a sovereign storage and collaboration solution, entirely hosted within our own Swiss datacenters. We design an ecosystem interconnected with our productivity tools (Mail, kChat, kMeet), placing quality, reliability, and user experience at the heart of every technical iteration. Your responsibilities: Architecture & Design: Participate in the evolution of the backend to support the massive growth and scalability challenges of the kDrive product. Development of critical features: Design and implement complex features (sharing, rights management, file versioning) while guaranteeing optimal performance. Quality and industrialization: Guarantee the stability and maintainability of the product through test automation and strong involvement in code reviews. Reliability and security: Guarantee the integrity and confidentiality of user data by applying security best practices (encryption, API hardening..). Profile sought: PHP / Laravel Expertise: You have solid experience in modern PHP (version 8+) and master complex architecture patterns. Ideally through the use of the Laravel framework. Mastery of APIs & Microservices: Ability to design robust, high-performance, and documented APIs for a multi-platform ecosystem (web, desktop, mobile). Performance culture: Excellent knowledge of databases (MySQL) and caching mechanisms (Redis) to process large volumes of data. A plus if you have knowledge in: Experience with Docker / Kubernetes, GitLab CI is a plus. Experience with distributed storage technologies (S3, Ceph) or the manipulation of complex file systems. Open source contributions or side projects are appreciated. Knowledge of WebDAV is a plus. You like working in a team and demonstrate positive communication.
