Technical Lead Embedded Software

For our client, a renowned Swiss technology company in the Zurich region, we are looking for a Technical Lead in the field of Embedded Software Tasks Technical leadership of a software development team in the field of HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) Support and management of the embedded software engineers regarding quality, effort estimations, and timely delivery of the work results Management of software sub-projects according to the waterfall model, including effort estimation, project planning, requirements analysis, resource coordination, and risk management Qualifications Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field Several years of experience in the development of embedded software as well as in the successful implementation of software projects, ideally in the environment of Matlab, Simulink, and C++ Experience with model-based development (e.g., Simulink) as well as automatic code generation for embedded systems is an advantage Demonstrable experience in the technical leadership and guidance of embedded software engineers Sound knowledge in requirements engineering and in the translation of system requirements into detailed software requirements Experience in the planning and management of software sub-projects, including effort estimation, planning, resource management, and risk management Very good German and English skills as well as strong communication skills in dealing with internal and external stakeholders High implementation strength, structured way of working, and strong result orientation
