As a Project Manager, you will take on a key position in the management and coordination of projects in the field of cloud-based software development for our railway customers. You will lead development and customer projects in this environment and work closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners and customers to realize innovative and market-oriented solutions. For this position, we are looking for a committed personality with a passion for innovative software projects, enjoyment of working in a team, and the enthusiasm to develop cloud-based software using agile project methods. Your tasks and responsibilities   • You plan, control, and monitor software development projects in the cloud environment. You ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget as well as according to requirements. This also includes the definition of project goals, task distribution, risk management, and quality assurance. • You maintain close relationships with internal and external stakeholders, such as customers in the railway environment, partners, or other departments within Siemens. You understand the requirements of the stakeholders and ensure that the developed software solutions meet their needs. You communicate project status and results to the stakeholders in a target-group-oriented manner. • You are the interface between development, engineering, and product management as well as the customers. You coordinate with these departments as well as the technical core team, thereby ensuring smooth project implementation. • You work closely with our international development team to develop innovative solutions in the railway environment. You identify potential for optimizing existing processes and drive the introduction of new technologies and methods. Your talents and skills • Talent in structuring and controlling software development projects in the CloudNative environment • Enthusiasm for technical projects and the ability to communicate complex technical contexts comprehensibly • Deep practical knowledge in cloud technologies and experience in architecture and programming of cloud-based software systems in the industrial sector • Openness to new challenges and flexible handling of changing requirements • Expertise in railway control technology desirable • Completed technical studies (ETH, FH) or relevant experience • Very good German and English skills • If you are looking for a dynamic role in a highly innovative technical environment in which you contribute significantly to the further development and implementation of our projects, then you have come to the right place!
