Our IT team in the area of application support and software development is looking for a Software Developer (100 %) with a passion for innovation and composure.

Your tasks

Together with your supervisor and your colleagues, you are responsible for the support and further development of our software solutions created with Powerbuilder for the administration of our insurance offerings. At the same time, you will take over 2nd – 3rd level support, support our specialist departments in technical matters regarding our core application, and are happy to provide competent assistance in the event of malfunctions.

As a sociable, proactive, and communicative person, you think in a networked and analytical manner. Personal commitment is a matter of course for you. You highly value your independent activity, but at the same time feel comfortable as part of our IT with a total of 24 employees. A modern and spacious working environment awaits you; after the induction period, we enable you to work up to 2 days of home office per week.

You offer us:

• Training as an Applikationsentwickler EFZ or IT-Fachhochschule with corresponding experience
• Very good knowledge in software development SQL (T-SQL is an advantage), in object-oriented development, and the ambition to learn how to use Powerbuilder (Powerscript)
• The ability to grasp business processes and implement them in applications
• Interest in insurance and administration
