Test Engineer Special Fire Protection Systems

In this role, you will ensure the quality of a product portfolio in the field of special fire protection systems, which includes hardware devices, mobile and Windows applications, as well as cloud services. You will develop test automation frameworks and perform risk-based test cases.

Tasks

• Ensuring the quality of the product portfolio in the field of special fire protection systems
• Analysis and design of product requirements for test software architecture and test infrastructure
• Design and development of test automation frameworks
• Developing and performing test cases using a risk-based approach
• Maintenance, evaluation, and expansion of hardware test systems and long-term tests
• Collaboration with internal and external specialists in international teams

Profile

• Technical basic training with a degree BSc, MSc, or Engineer FH/ETH in software, computer science, or electrical engineering
• Several years of experience in the creation and implementation of test frameworks and test cases
• Hands-on experience in test automation, preferably in C#
• Basic knowledge in handling hardware boards, e.g., serial interfaces
• Certification as an ISTQB Certified Tester
• Experience with agile methods such as SCRUM, SAFe
• Impeccable German and English skills mandatory
