Task We are looking for an experienced Python & Cloud Native Software Engineer for one of our customers. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will take on a central technical role in an agile development team at Telekom. In addition to developing sophisticated software solutions, you are responsible for the technical quality of the implementation, support the team as a technical contact person, and actively help shape the software architecture. You lead the team technically, establish best practices, and ensure sustainable and high-quality software development through code reviews, architectural decisions, and mentoring. In doing so, you work closely with Product Owners, architects, and other development teams. Digital Solution Connectivity (DSO CNS) is composed of employees from both the business and technical sectors and is responsible for the conception, development, operation, and continuous further development of digital connectivity solutions. For the team <<RIO>>, we are looking for a dedicated, independent, and motivated Senior Software Developer. Team <<RIO>> ensures that our technical data, network resources, and infrastructure can be reliably captured, processed, and controlled. It creates important reports (e.g., NISV-QS), supports operational communication, supports billing, and orchestrates technical resources so that products and services are provided correctly. Additionally, Rio is responsible for asset and technical room management - i.e., the transparency and maintenance of our physical networks, facilities, and cabling, and the logical connections of services. Requirements * Residence in Switzerland, preferably the Bern area * At least 8 years of professional experience in professional software development * Several years of experience as a Senior Developer, Technical Lead, or Lead Engineer * Excellent knowledge of Python as well as modern Python frameworks, especially FastAPI * Experience with FastStream and event-driven architectures * Very good knowledge in the development and operation of microservices * Sound experience with Apache Kafka * Several years of experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift * Very good knowledge of API Management as well as the design and development of REST APIs * Experience in the creation and evaluation of software architectures * Demonstrable experience in conducting code reviews and establishing development standards * Experience with Clean Architecture, Clean Code, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and test automation * Very good knowledge of using Git as well as modern CI/CD processes * Experience in agile development methods (Scrum, Kanban) * Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a high awareness of quality * Very good German and good English skills * Experience in the telecommunications environment (OSS/BSS, network management, provisioning, or service orchestration) * Knowledge of TM Forum Open APIs, Open Digital Architecture (ODA), or comparable industry standards * Experience with cloud-native architectures and DevSecOps * Knowledge in the area of observability (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) * Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform or Ansible) (Option for extension) Contact person Michael Schwab, , [ ](< >) j4id10453646jm j4it1043jm j4iy26jm
