Job description Set up job subscription   Frontend Developer (m/f/d) # IT / Bern / Experienced / Permanent/ 40% - 100% What awaits you ## In the agile, multidisciplinary Value Proposition environment in Bern, you will develop software solutions for our insurance products using modern technologies. The ambition of the Value Proposition teams: to be close to the customers, to have a common language between Business and IT, and to have an architecture and methodology that are continuously developed. The teams are responsible for the modernization of insurance products for private individuals and SMEs. You design, develop, test, and operate applications throughout the entire lifecycle (DevOps) and work closely with specialist managers, stakeholders of the agile organization, and other IT teams. What you will achieve with us ## Within the framework of the SAFe framework, you will develop complex functional applications and continuously evolve them. You will take an active role in the implementation of functional features, from offer creation to the processing of business cases, and will be the central contact person for the teams and other stakeholders for technical and IT-specific questions, such as feasibility, dependencies, and requirements.   In close cooperation with platform teams and Quality Engineers, you will ensure smooth integration and stable operation of your solutions.   Through your participation in code reviews, you contribute to the continuous improvement of code quality, architecture, and development processes. In addition, you will take on responsibility for requests and incidents on a rotational basis, thus ensuring the reliable operation of the applications.  What you bring with you ## • Completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification • Sound knowledge in agile software development with Javascript/Typescript and Angular • Experience with automated tests (e.g., Jest); knowledge of test-driven development is a plus • Confident handling of development support tools such as IntelliJ, Git, GitLab and CI pipelines • Experience with Cloud Services (Microsoft Azure) as well as DevOps tools is an advantage • Implementation-oriented, communicative, and customer-oriented personality • Curiosity and enjoyment of complex issues • Fluent German skills; English skills are an advantage Work with us ## Strong teams are waiting for you, who are looking forward to reinforcement.
