Neuchâtel, Switzerland (and home office) | 80-100% What you can contribute <br /> • Manage containerized applications under Linux and multi-container environments using Podman and Compose tools • Implement a self-hosted CI/CD infrastructure and establish automated build, test, and deployment processes • Develop and operate existing Python applications and microservices; transpose SAS scripts from various domains into Python • Ensure monitoring and logging using Grafana, Prometheus and Loki, and manage dashboards • Operate and evolve PostgreSQL databases, integration components and storage solutions (NAS, S3) • Design systematic tests (end-to-end tests, integration tests and unit tests) and write documentation (user manuals, service descriptions) <br /> What makes you unique <br /> • Degree from a (specialized) university of applied sciences in computer science or equivalent training and experience in the operation as well as development of complex IT systems • Very good command of Python, particularly in the development and maintenance of applications with Flask and Gunicorn • Good knowledge of Linux, Podman or Docker, as well as CI/CD processes and GitHub-based workflows • Experience in the field of monitoring and logging solutions, as well as with PostgreSQL; ideally, knowledge of Apache Camel, NAS or S3 • Active knowledge of an official language and good knowledge of English <br /> In a few words Play a central role in the development and smooth functioning of the automated data processing system for elections and votes. Within a small, highly motivated team, you will notably participate in the design of the CI/CD infrastructure and thus contribute decisively to the success of an important digitization project in the field of political rights in Switzerland. This position is limited until the end of 2027, as it is linked to a project. If your skills justify it, it is conceivable to keep, at the end of the project, a position within the division for interesting cross-functional missions.
