Software Engineer C# .NET

You develop and maintain production software based on .NET and C# for manufacturing systems with a direct connection to machine control.

Tasks

• Development, expansion and maintenance of production software based on .NET and C#, including web interfaces
• Development and maintenance of software related to machine control, motors, lasers and sensor data evaluation
• Design of interfaces between internal software and higher-level systems such as MES and ERP (SAP)
• Development of concepts and architectures, requirements analysis and effort estimation
• Ensuring code quality through version control with Git, tests and code reviews, working with Azure DevOps
• Error analysis, technical support and continuous improvement of the software based on production feedback
• Introduction of new tools and functions in production as well as training of employees on site

Profile

• Completed studies (Bachelor or higher) in computer science, information technology, automation or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in software development with .NET and C#, including web interfaces
• Knowledge of relational databases, for example SQL Server or Oracle
• Experience in a machine or industrial environment, for example robotics or automation
• Confident handling of Git and modern development processes, ideally with Azure DevOps
• Very good German and English skills
