Embedded Software Engineer (m/w)

Your tasks

• Development and modification of complex firmware for microcontrollers in embedded systems (incl. specifications, architecture, design, implementation, testing, documentation)
• Analysis of system correlations as well as concept implementation taking functional safety into account
• Management of sub-projects in the field of firmware
• Support of the project manager in planning, execution, and coordination within the firmware specialist area
• Support of electronics and mechanics development
• Evaluation and introduction of the latest technologies, methods, and development tools
• Support of product support, production, product management, and sales regarding technical questions
• Cooperation with external certification bodies

Your qualifications

• University degree (ETH/TU) with specialization in electrical engineering or firmware engineering or equivalent
• Several years of experience in the development of firmware for embedded systems (C, C++), taking functional safety into account
• Experience in the development of firmware for motor controllers
• Good knowledge of data communication (fieldbuses)
• Experience in the areas of agile software development, mechatronics, and drive technology as well as in the development of electronic circuits
• Conceptual and analytical thinking skills at the system level
• Enjoyment of a wide range of tasks and activities
• Independent, reliable, structured, and goal-oriented way of working
• Good German and English skills in speaking and writing
