Due to increasing parcel volumes, yard logistics is glowing - and it should glow even hotter. With a modernized software landscape and plenty of heavy metal on site, we are creating double warehouse capacity and 50 percent more throughput on the same area.

High deployment frequency. Maximum stability. No nonsense. In 2025, there were 3-000 deployments into production in our department. Four changes with problems. Your first reaction is "Wow!", your second "Why not zero"? You write clean code, want to understand why reviews, tests and observability are not just dry theory? What you can achieve

• You implement and maintain highly available, business-critical services based on the current version of C# and .NET.
• After thorough reviews, your code is automatically tested by your CI/CD pipeline and deployed into the production environment on Kubernetes/AWS.
• Your software moves big things: around 5-000 containers of 10 tons daily across the yards of Schweizerische Post.
• (Exactly) because of this, you are interested in engineering practices at world-class level - from the testing strategy to observability to the deployment pipeline.
• You are part of a DevOps team and learn to proactively monitor, analyze and continuously optimize stability and performance using tools like Grafana, Prometheus and Splunk.
• You build up domain knowledge step by step and understand technical requirements in depth to translate them into code in the best possible way.

What you bring with you

• You have a computer science education, ideally at university level, as well as professional experience in software development.
• You have solid knowledge of C# or Java and want to develop further towards technically demanding, fail-safe systems.
• The following saying makes you smile or at least makes you Google: -There are only two hard problems in distributed systems: 2. Exactly-once delivery, 1. Guaranteed order of messages 2. Exactly-once delivery.-
• Terms such as long GC pauses, memory leaks or race conditions are not foreign to you, and you want to learn to solve such problems systematically in production.
• A pull request without feedback disappoints you and improvements are almost a hobby.
• You communicate very well orally and in writing in German and English. Any additional national language is a plus.
