Senior Fullstack Engineer (w/m/d)

In the Solution Team Delivery-Tools & -Automation, you develop and operate the central test data platform of PostFinance, which enables development and testing across all stages. You ensure that developers and testers can quickly access high-quality synthetic test data. In an agile environment, you design scalable solutions that combine stability and innovation. In this way, you accelerate and optimize the software delivery lifecycle and make an important contribution to the entire development organization of PostFinance.

What you can achieve

• You develop and operate our test data platform as a Fullstack Engineer, from the Angular self-service portal through Java and Spring Boot services to operation on Kubernetes
• You expand the platform together with the team, implement new functions, and scale them for growing requirements
• You use your experience specifically to ensure the stability, performance, and resilience of a widely used, distributed system landscape
• You are responsible for the entire lifecycle from conception through operation to end-to-end support
• You actively help shape technical decisions in the team and, together with the Architecture Owner, further develop our architecture and technologies
• You pass on your knowledge, promote less experienced colleagues, and drive our working methods and quality standards forward with the team

What you bring with you

• Higher education in computer science (FH/Uni) or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in fullstack development with Java and Spring Boot, as well as knowledge in frontend development with Angular and Typescript
• Confident handling of Docker, Kubernetes, and GitLab CI, as well as experience with GitOps, Infrastructure as Code, and Observability is an advantage
• Familiarity with distributed systems and integration technologies such as Kafka, REST, SOAP, and JMS, as well as with relational databases
• High quality standards, a strong DevOps mindset, and enjoyment in the sustainable further development of a platform grown over many years
• Experience in the banking or finance environment as well as a good understanding of testing and test automation is an advantage
• Team-oriented and independent way of working with the ambition to co-shape solutions, quality, and cooperation in the team
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
