Senior Software Engineer Integration & Platform Owner (all) # 80-100% in Winterthur ## Do you want to actively help shape the integration platform of a leading Swiss health insurer? Our Integration Platforms & Solutions team ensures reliable and secure data exchange within SWICA as well as with external partners. We are looking for an experienced personality with a passion for integration, platform engineering, and modern software architectures. In this role, you will take on technical responsibility for our MuleSoft Anypoint platform and actively shape its further development - from stable operating processes to future integration patterns in the AI era. You will work closely with architecture, development teams, security, infrastructure, and specialist departments and contribute your technical expertise to strategically important integration projects. How you shape health with ### • Technical ownership of the MuleSoft Anypoint platform including lifecycle management, security, and continuous further development • Further development of our integration architecture towards modern API and AI-supported integration solutions • Advising and supporting project teams and stakeholders on integration and architecture issues • Analysis, concretization, and implementation of requirements together with specialist and IT departments • Participation in integration projects from conception to production launch • Development of APIs, integration solutions, and, if necessary, custom connectors with Java • Ensuring stability, performance, observability, and operation of the platform • Support in 3rd-level support as well as technical error analysis for complex incidents • Co-design of engineering standards, best practices, and automation What distinguishes you ### • Higher education in computer science (HF, FH, Uni or comparable) • Several years of experience as a software engineer or integration engineer in complex enterprise environments • Experience with API and integration platforms such as MuleSoft Anypoint, Apigee, WSO2, Boomi, or similar solutions • Very good knowledge in API design (REST, SOAP, Async/Event-driven), microservices, and integration architectures • Good programming skills in Java or a comparable object-oriented language • Experience in the operation or technical responsibility of platforms or central services is an advantage • Solid understanding of CI/CD, security, observability, and modern operating models • Good SQL knowledge as well as experience with relational databases • Analytical thinking, high initiative, and enjoyment of cross-departmental cooperation Your place of work ### Zürcherstrasse 31, 8401 Winterthur
