Our client, an independent private banking institution in Geneva (approx. 320 employees, specializing in wealth management), is strengthening its development team as part of a major technological overhaul.
The context
You will join the team in charge of the card management system (credit, debit, virtual): transaction processing, ordering and manufacturing, reconciliation. Part of the platform, currently in PHP/Symfony, is being rewritten towards NodeJS. You will analyze existing components to design and implement their Node equivalents, in collaboration with architects and tech leads.
100% backend position. NodeJS is used there on the server side, in complex environments, with high security constraints and multi-databases (PostgreSQL, DB2, SQL Server).
Your profile
Minimum 7 years of experience in backend development
Excellent mastery of the NodeJS and TypeScript ecosystem
Good mastery of the PHP/Symfony ecosystem
Excellent knowledge of SOLID, DDD and CQRS principles
API design: OpenAPI, REST, GraphQL
Microservices and event-driven architecture; messaging (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and asynchronous delivery patterns
CI/CD (GitLab or equivalent), Docker, SQL and ORM, Git
Engineering degree in computer science or equivalent
Fluent French, English B2 (exchanges with international sites)
A plus: experience in the card domain or the banking and financial sector.
