Position: IT Developer Intern (Data Analysis Tools)

Entity: BU Industries & MedTech

Location: Sonceboz-Sombeval, Switzerland

You will contribute to the development of a software tool for tracking and controlling product cost prices using data primarily from SAP and internal databases.

The developed tool will offer:

• A customizable user interface (reference, period, cost type, etc.);
• A visualization of cost price evolutions in the form of curves and tables;
• A highlighting of cost variances and their origins (purchasing, labor, processes, exchange rates, bill of materials modification, quantities, etc.);
• Management of user comments, justifications, and attachments;
• Automatic alerts customizable according to defined references and thresholds;
• A monitoring cockpit highlighting main costs and the most significant evolutions (top costs, top evolutions, etc.).

At the end of the internship, you will have developed:

• A software solution equipped with an intuitive, user-friendly, and large-scale deployable interface;
• A robust solution capable of taking into account various product and process evolutions (index change, bill of materials modification, addition or deletion of an operation, supplier change, etc.);
• The user and administrator documentation associated with the tool.
• Knowledge in programming and databases;
• Knowledge in web development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS);
• Knowledge in Python development;
• Interest in the analysis and exploitation of technical and industrial data;
• Open-mindedness and autonomy;
• Technical curiosity and analytical spirit.
• Engineering student in the final year of training (Master's level or equivalent), with a specialization in computer science, data science or information systems;
