Industrial Applications Developer & Java Integration (M/F)

Experis is looking for a Senior Java Application Developer (M/F) for one of its clients, a recognized player in the industrial sector in Genève, to strengthen a team in charge of critical applications that are highly integrated into the company's information system.

You will work in a modern technical environment, within agile teams, on topics combining development, application integration, solution modernization, and continuous improvement.

Your responsibilities
--------------------

• Ensure the corrective and evolutionary maintenance of strategic business applications developed mainly in Java.
• Design, develop, and evolve reliable, high-performance, and secure solutions.
• Participate in the integration of applications with the company's different systems (CAO & FAO).
• Contribute to application deployments and the improvement of DevOps processes.
• Analyze business needs and support users in the resolution of incidents and evolution requests.
• Guarantee code quality through development best practices and automated testing.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of the team's methods, tools, and processes.
• Collaborate with various technical teams on cross-functional projects.

Your profile
------------

• Minimum 5 years of experience in software development in an industrial environment.
• Solid experience in Java development.
• Experience in complex and highly integrated application environments.
• Good knowledge of modern software architectures and development best practices.
• Mastery of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts.
• Experience with containerized environments and orchestration platforms is an asset.
• Strong sensitivity to software quality, maintainability, and security issues.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban or equivalent).
• Ability to work on different technologies and to evolve in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Good team spirit, autonomy, and excellent analytical skills.
