To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a: Software Engineer Business Applications. You will report directly to the Head of IT and work closely with our specialist departments. If you enjoy the following activities, this position is for you: * You develop, integrate, and operate internal business applications, interfaces, and automations. * You collect requirements from Legal, Assistant, and Business Support and translate them into pragmatic, user-friendly solutions. * Together with our Legal-Tech and IT team, you drive the integration of AI into our applications and processes, thereby actively shaping the digital future of the firm. * You implement smaller and medium-sized projects independently, from conception through development to implementation. * For larger projects, you take over project management and manage external development partners. * Together with IT Operations & Support, you ensure clean releases and a smooth handover to operations. What you bring with you: * Several years of experience in application development as a Software Engineer or in a comparable role * Sound programming knowledge in TypeScript and Python as well as experience with modern web frameworks such as Svelte or React * Confident handling of REST APIs, authentication, databases, and Git * A degree in computer science (HF, FH or university) or an equivalent background * Experience in driving IT projects and in collaborating with external partners * Joy in translating between specialist departments and technology. You work independently, structured, and pragmatically * Very good German and English skills * Experience with CI/CD, knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Power Platform, as well as experience in a law firm environment are an advantage.
