For over 35 years, Opacc has been developing and distributing a completely in-house developed ERP and e-business platform that supports companies in trade, services, and industry in making their business processes digital, efficient, and future-proof.

For the Mobile Applications area, we are looking for a Software Engineer Mobile Applications / Technical Lead who enjoys demanding software development and has the desire to actively help shape technical decisions. Together with a small, well-coordinated team, you will work on versatile mobile applications, modernize existing solutions, and contribute your own ideas. In doing so, you will actively shape the technological direction of the product area and take on functional responsibility. At the same time, you will remain close to the code yourself and contribute your technical expertise to set new impulses.

Your challenge

• Software Engineering & Product Development
• Development, expansion, and maintenance of applications in the ERP, warehouse, logistics, and service environments
• Active participation in the entire development cycle – from requirements analysis and conception to implementation and testing to release
• Modernization of existing applications with a focus on future-proof software architectures
• Ensuring a high-quality, long-term maintainable, and consistent codebase
• Functional Responsibility & Interface to other areas
• Step-by-step assumption of functional responsibility for the Mobile Applications area
• Co-shaping the technical direction and developing sustainable solution concepts
• Close cooperation with project managers, other development teams, and internal stakeholders
• Review of technical concepts as well as coordination of new functionalities across team boundaries
• Technology, Processes and Standards
• Further development and optimization of development processes, especially in the areas of testing, code quality, and release management
• Contributing own ideas and new technological approaches for the continuous improvement of applications and processes

Your qualities and talents

• Sound computer science education (FH, HF, university or ETH) or comparable qualification
• At least five years of sound professional experience in software engineering with very good knowledge in the .NET environment; experience with .NET MAUI and Android is a particular advantage
• Good understanding of software architecture, code quality, and the modernization of existing applications; knowledge in the development of Windows and backend applications is an advantage
• Strong affinity for ERP systems and operational business processes, ideally supplemented by experience in a logistics or industrial environment
• Initial experience in functional leadership desirable; alternatively sound experience in development and potential as well as motivation to take on functional responsibility
• Initiative, desire to shape, and an independent, structured way of working, combined with strong communication skills and high team orientation
• Business-fluent German skills; English skills are an advantage
