Test Engineer

Tasks
Responsibility for the planning, execution and documentation of tests
Examination of requirements as well as creation, maintenance and further development of test cases, test protocols and test evidence
Creation and maintenance of test scripting
Execution of API and database testing as well as ensuring quality along modern development processes
Participation in the integration of tests into CI/CD and DevOps processes as well as support in deployment and release processes
Ensuring the link between requirements, test cases, results and defects
Providing suitable test environments, maintenance of configuration management of test tools as well as compliance with quality management specifications
Active participation in the optimization of test processes, test methodology and technical quality standards

Requirements
Higher vocational education in the field of computer science or career changers with several years of experience in software testing
Sound experience as a Test Engineer, especially in test automation, test scripting and structured testing
Very good knowledge of test methodology and strategy, in modern testing approaches as well as in agile software development
Good understanding of modern DevOps processes
Knowledge of Jira, Xray and GitLab is an advantage
Strong communication skills, assertiveness as well as enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
Business fluent German; English and/or French skills (Level B2) are an advantage
Experience in regulated industries is an advantage
Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
