AI-native Developer (100 %) – AI-based pharmacy automation

Magellan AI Systems GmbH is a small, highly efficient company based in Entlebuch that automates pharmacies in Germany using AI. We develop several products in parallel — our Blütenshop (cannabis end-to-end solution), a computer-use software, and our virtual wholesale for a fully automated, optimized ordering process in the pharmacy. This may sound unexciting at first, but it brings real AI usage and significant time savings to real pharmacies. This thrills us and our customers!

Development and sysadmin run AI-natively with us: Claude Code, OpenClaw, Codex and our own automation agents handle the majority of the technical implementation. You no longer write every line yourself — you specify, control, evaluate and take responsibility for what the AI builds. You don't need to know every API doc by heart, but you need a solid mental model of how systems are interconnected.

It is particularly important to recognize AI for what it is: the future. And it is important to learn this topic as intensively and intrinsically motivated as possible — then we will be a good fit! We are currently radically transforming Magellan into a true AI-first company. For this, we are not looking for followers, but for someone who is "all in on AI" — and is already living it today.

WHAT YOU WILL TAKE ON

• PROKAS Computer Use: our Windows automation of the pharmacy cash register (PowerShell engine, Screenshot → OCR → input). You roll out new flows per pharmacy and keep them stable.
• MSV3-Ordering tool & cash register tool: Next.js / Supabase / Vercel — building features, fixing bugs, hardening security.
• Rapid prototypes for new product and package ideas.

WHAT REALLY COUNTS
What you bring with you is more important than what you know today.

• Personal responsibility — you don't always just wait for instructions, you recognize opportunities and problems and act.
• "All in on AI" — you have long been tinkering with AI and have already built and used various AI-supported solutions in your professional and/or private life; you want to grow daily around the topic of AI.
• IT/developer background — solid programming and IT basics (training, studies or practice): APIs, databases, Git, Linux, a sense of how systems interact. Exception: if you convince us instead with your AI (hacking) skills, we are all ears.
• Judgment — you do not blindly accept AI results, but rather specify, check, prioritize and take responsibility for them.
• Conscientiousness — our systems process real prescriptions and orders. Things are finished, errors are documented, nothing falls through the cracks.
• Communication — very good German or English, clear and direct. (German is an advantage, but not a must.)
