The Hochschule Luzern - Rektorat und Hochschuldienste supports the six departments of Technik & Architektur, Wirtschaft, Informatik, Soziale Arbeit, Design Film Kunst, and Musik in university operations through its departments and organizes and participates in a variety of ways. The central task of the Application Development Team is the support of business applications. This includes external systems as well as in-house and further developments. The clientele consists of the six departments, the directorate, as well as the Rektorat und Hochschuldienste area. To complement our team, we are looking for you as of 1 December 2026 or by arrangement. Your tasks: Realization of web-based software solutions from analysis to successful commissioning and maintenance; Analysis of customer requirements; Participation in effort estimations; Development of frontend apps (with Vue.js) and RESTful APIs in the backend (with .NET); Containerization and orchestration of applications with Kubernetes. Your profile: Completion of vocational training in the field of application development; Training (HF/FH/Uni) in the field of computer science is an advantage; Several years of experience in development with modern JavaScript frameworks (knowledge of Vue.js is an advantage), REST APIs (preferably in .NET), as well as database design; Knowledge in deployment, operation, and troubleshooting of applications in Kubernetes environments; Practical experience in the setup and operation of DevOps pipelines; Experience with agile methods and the corresponding tooling landscape; Willingness to acquire any missing knowledge -on the job-. Good oral and written skills in German and English; Independent working style as well as high customer and service orientation.
