What it is about: Our client, a large Swiss company, is building a new team and rethinking Requirements Management. You operate and modernize the established platform Polarion ALM and simultaneously help build a Specification-as-Code approach. Requirements are versioned, automated and managed to be AI-ready, with end-to-end traceability into production. Your role: You combine operation and development: stability where it counts, and innovation where it makes the difference. In the new team, you help shape standards and toolchains from the very beginning. Additionally, you accompany numerous delivery teams on their way to modern working methods. Your responsibilities: You are responsible for the operation, maintenance and further development of the requirements management platforms. You actively develop Polarion ALM into a modern, future-proof solution. You play a decisive role in shaping the construction of a Requirements-as-Code solution according to the Spec-Driven-Development approach. You build and operate integrations and automations along the entire Software Delivery Lifecycle. You use CI/CD pipelines and AI-supported tools for development, analysis, testing and documentation. You work closely with developers, business analysts, testers, architects, product owners and other stakeholders. What you bring: A higher education in computer science (HF, FH, Uni/ETH) or comparable practical experience. At least 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, DevOps Engineer or in a similar technical role. Experience in the operation and further development of business-critical applications and platforms. Sound knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, TypeScript, Angular, REST-APIs and CI/CD. Experience with established enterprise landscapes, ideally with Polarion ALM, Groovy or similar technologies. A high awareness of quality and enjoyment in solving tricky problems. Curiosity about modern engineering practices, AI tools and Specs-as-Code. Good German and English skills.
