As a Software Architect, you will provide orientation to our existing C++ system landscape, make sound architectural decisions, and develop our products step by step – pragmatically, sustainably, and with an eye on what our customers really need.
Your new job – if you want to shape architecture:
You are responsible for the overall architecture and ensure the scalability, maintainability, and future viability of our solutions.
You plan the reduction of technical debt and drive the gradual modernization of our existing C++ system landscape.
You define architectural principles, standards, and decision-making processes and accompany their implementation in design reviews.
You are a technical sparring partner for the development team and support technology, framework, and make-or-buy decisions.
You design the integration architecture with external partners and establish clear API and interface standards.
What you bring with you – and we are enthusiastic:
You have 8 or more years of experience in software development in an enterprise environment, including at least 3 years in an architecture role with demonstrable decisions at the system level.
You bring sound knowledge in service-oriented architectures and API design, especially REST and Event-Driven Architecture.
You have experience with C++ and large, existing software systems and find pragmatic solutions for complex challenges.
You communicate technical contexts clearly with developers, specialist departments, and management.
Experience with data protection, compliance, or regulated environments is a plus – as is the willingness to familiarize yourself with pharma-specific requirements.
