Embedded Software Engineer 80 - 100 % (m/f)

The Robotics Business Unit develops, produces, and markets pipetting robots to automate liquid handling processes, from the pharmaceutical industry to the food industry, including cell or DNA research.

What you can accomplish:

Participation in the introduction and evaluation of new technologies as well as future technologies for the development of the product portfolio

Ensure the correct functionality and consistency of all relevant system interfaces

Design, implementation, and continuous maintenance of custom system applications

Creation and maintenance of interface definitions, including command sets, to guarantee smooth communication between system components

Support in the development of product requirements and technical specifications in close collaboration with the relevant stakeholders

Development of hierarchical system architectures, logically and physically interconnected

Implementation and maintenance of simulation-assisted system architectures to validate technical concepts

Formalization of technical requirements and contracts for development, integration, as well as verification and validation

Assume the role of Product Owner for the products you are responsible for - both at a local and global level

Coordination and harmonization with other business divisions regarding system-related issues and cross-functional requirements

What you bring:

Bachelor's degree, FH, or higher, or equivalent professional experience

At least 5 years of experience in embedded software development

Expertise in C and C++ programming as well as Python

Proficiency in ARM processors (Cortex M4 & M7)

Advanced knowledge and experience in embedded software design, software development, and debugging

Open personality

Very good knowledge of German (minimum level C1)
