In this versatile role, you will actively engage in the further development and operation of our software in the area of investment solutions at Zürcher Kantonalbank. You will contribute your profound knowledge in Avaloq configuration as well as Java backend development to adapt the Avaloq Banking Platform and the in-house developed adapters to the requirements of our customers, the users, and the business processes.

As part of an agile DevOps team with responsibility in the areas of investment advice, asset management, and master data, you will deal with topics such as portfolio management, rebalancing, portfolio optimization, restrictions, interfaces, and integration. In doing so, you will work closely with various internal teams to overcome technical challenges and develop innovative solutions. Your analytical skills enable you to identify and solve complex problems while maintaining a high quality standard.

Your tasks

• Configuring portfolio management functions and master data extensions within the Avaloq Banking Platform
• Designing and developing event streaming interfaces to other software systems
• Maintaining and further developing Java-based software components
• Supporting ongoing operations as well as analyzing and fixing malfunctions

Your profile

• Education and/or further training in computer science or business informatics or a comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in the configuration of the Avaloq Core Banking Platform in the investment area
• Several years of experience in the development of Java applications with a focus on backend (e.g., Spring, database experience and ideally (Azure) cloud)
• Experience in Python is a big plus
• Familiarity with DevOps principles and experience working with agile development methods
• Team player with strong communication skills and very good expression in German as well as good English skills
