In this role, you will actively participate in software development in a hardware-proximal environment for high-precision applications on our machines using AI tools.

• Analysis, design and implementation of software for mechatronic systems in a hardware-proximal environment with real-time requirements
• Implementation of automated tests as well as verification and debugging of the software using test systems and directly on the machine
• Use of modern AI-assisted development tools throughout the software lifecycle
• Carrying out and participating in design and code reviews as well as writing the corresponding documentation
• Active collaboration within a Scrum team as well as interdisciplinary collaboration in the project with other departments and sites

Are you passionate about technologies and want to apply your skills in an innovative environment? Then you ideally possess the following:

• University degree (FH/Uni/ETH) in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics or a comparable field
• Good knowledge of C++, UML, object-oriented design and object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of C#, Python, LUA and web technologies is an advantage
• Proven practical experience with modern AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar platforms
• Ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-generated code
• Good knowledge of prompt engineering for large language models
• Spirit of innovation, personal initiative, analytical thinking, solution-oriented approach and enthusiasm for new technologies
• Excellent communication skills in German and English
