Java Application Developer 80 - 100% #

Tasks

• Technical development, maintenance and optimization of the Java-based shop backend on SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris)
• Taking technical responsibility for all software aspects, from design to implementation to operation and support
• Planning and implementation of new features as well as the integration of external systems and services (e.g. PIM, ERP, payment, fulfillment) in collaboration with internal departments, external development partners and Product Owners
• Ensuring a stable, high-performance and future-oriented e-commerce platform using modern software architectures
• Maintenance of technical documentation, second-level support as well as coordination and consultation with partners

Requirements

• Deep knowledge in object-oriented software development with Java and practical experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris), including the extension of existing modules and the development of custom extensions
• Knowledge of modern web and server technologies (e.g. Spring Framework, RESTful APIs) as well as mastery of relational databases (e.g. MySQL, SAP HANA)
• Experience with build and deployment tools such as Jenkins as well as agile development methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
• Very good understanding of e-commerce processes and related systems (PIM, ERP, payment, fulfillment)
• Ability for structured analysis of problems, excellent communication skills, professional experience in the field and fluent mastery of German
