To strengthen the Software team, we are looking for a Senior Software Engineer -- IoT & Energy Systems (m/f) 100%

Your main tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain an application (Windows and Android) allowing the configuration and parameterization of Sontex products and equipment via optical and NFC communication interfaces.
• Design, develop, and evolve a radio reading platform intended for the management of remote metering infrastructures.
• Participate in the entire software development life cycle, from requirements analysis to production.
• Guarantee code quality by applying development best practices, modern methods, and test automation.
• Collaborate closely with external partners, Product Management, Hardware/Firmware teams, sales teams, and customers.
• Contribute to the planning, development, and deployment of new software versions.
• Ensure level 3 technical support for software solutions.
• Write, maintain, and evolve technical documentation related to software developments.

Your profile

• Bachelor or Master in computer science/engineering or training deemed equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial application development with Java
• Experience in the design of complex applications interacting with connected equipment or distributed systems.
• Experience with version control, continuous integration, and automated testing tools.
• Autonomous, responsible, and possessing a good sense of initiative, you communicate easily and know how to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Appreciated knowledge:
• Android
• Microservice architecture
• Jetpack Compose, Kotlin APIs
• Radio communication protocols (NFC, LoRaWAN, wMBus)
• Java FX
• SQL database
• Very good command of French and English (minimum B2 level); basic knowledge of German
