Location Winterthur, Bern or Basel Employment percentage 80 - 100 % Team Platform Services Contact person For more information Martina Bartholet You at Netcloud The role is addressed to people who understand platforms, take on responsibility and wish to shape a cloud sustainably. • You continuously administer, operate and develop a sovereign cloud platform based on Kubernetes. • You sustainably improve security, stability, performance and maintainability. • You automate and standardize consistently. • You analyze complex failures and treat the causes - not just the symptoms. • You work in close collaboration with peers in architecture, security and engineering within the team as well as with specialized teams across Netcloud. • Solid experience in the Linux operation of complex platforms • Experience with Kubernetes in a production environment • Several years of experience in automation and standardization (experience with Ansible, Terraform, GitOps or equivalent) and Git management • Passion for the operation and development of platforms • Autonomous and structured way of working Assets : • Experience with Red Hat OpenShift • Knowledge in networking, storage and/or virtualization • Experience with security concepts, IAM or backup • Experience in the fields of AI and GPU You will be part of a team of 9 platform engineers who operate and develop the Netcloud Public Cloud - from end to end: from the physical infrastructure, to networking, storage, compute & virtualization to the IaaS, PaaS and AIaaS levels. We are responsible for the entire technology stack and work daily on cross-cutting topics such as security, backup, monitoring, logging, IAM and automation. At the same time, we are developing our platform in the areas of GPU computing, AI workloads and modern cloud-native technologies. We operate in a demanding technological ecosystem with more than 50 tools and technologies.
