Our client is looking for an experienced Java Developer who is also accustomed to taking the lead. (Reference number: 925357RF)

Tasks:

• As Lead Developer, you will work together with the team to design the implementation of requirements and ensure the high quality of the software through Clean Code, sustainable architecture principles, and targeted test coverage
• You design and optimize the system solution for end-to-end test automation in complex software architectures
• You lead the development of critical software components, systems, and functions to improve availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency
• You take on the mentoring role for colleagues, pass on technical know-how, and shape the further development of the team
• You contribute suggestions for technological further development and tooling and actively decide on architecture and technology questions

Requirements:

• At least 10 years of experience in agile software development with Java and Angular
• Experience in leading and mentoring developers as well as in passing on technical know-how within teams
• Completed higher education or further education in computer science (HF, FH, Uni/ETH)
• Profound experience in the development of test automation frameworks (e.g., Appium, Selenium, Playwright)
• In-depth knowledge in software architecture as well as in the test automation of Web-UIs, Mobile Apps, and APIs is an advantage
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines as well as in the development, analysis, and troubleshooting of large, decentralized systems
• Very good German and good English skills
