Syntegon Packaging Systems AG in Beringen (SH) is a company within the Syntegon group and offers a complete portfolio of packaging solutions for the confectionery and food industries. What awaits you:

In this exciting position, you are responsible for the realization of our HMI applications for customer projects and support commissioning - from the offer to the successful project completion at the customer site.

• The realization of customer applications for the visualization of packaging machines for new machines and modernizations is under your responsibility. You also support our commissioning team at our premises as well as, occasionally, at our customers worldwide.
• You place importance on a user-friendly HMI interface with an emphasis on ergonomics and user experience.
• The maintenance and development of our machine-specific application templates constitute a significant part of your work in order to ensure a high quality of our visualization applications.
• You support our sales department in the preparation of offers by evaluating customer specifications.
• Your experience in the field of high-level languages helps you to adapt HMI programs to our customers' needs and to develop tools for the automated creation of applications.
• Through your active participation in the continuous improvement of our work processes, you contribute significantly to the timely completion of projects with high quality.
• Internal knowledge transfer as well as the creation of documentation complete your profile of activities.

What you bring:

• You have a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience in the development of visualization systems.
• Additionally, you have initial experience in programming HMI/SCADA systems (e.g., FactoryTalk, Zenon, or WinCC) and are familiar with common control platforms.
• You possess good knowledge of C#/.NET; experience with web technologies and Python is an advantage.
• Furthermore, you have skills in Windows and Linux systems, networking, IT security, as well as Microsoft SQL Server database management.
• You are familiar with modern industrial and web protocols such as REST, OPC UA, and MQTT and are passionate about automation solutions as well as special machine construction.
• Finally, you enjoy working in a team, approach tasks autonomously and solution-oriented, and distinguish yourself through a sense of ergonomics and user experience as well as good knowledge of English for occasional international customer contacts.
