Pre-HES Internship – IT and communication systems – 100%

As an IT intern, you will join the Flux and Billing team within the Patient File domain at the Applications Service of the Digital Transformation and Augmented Intelligence Directorate. These applications are deployed within the hospital and must meet high requirements for quality, performance, security, and configurability.

In this context, you will participate in the design, development, and evolution of a suite of micro-services and interfaces as part of the "Centralization of billing rules" project, allowing for the modeling of all rules related to the Electronic Patient Record (DPI). You will familiarize yourself with DPI and its various functionalities, as well as with the methodologies necessary to implement robust, scalable, and reusable technical solutions, promoting the pooling of developments while meeting the specific needs of the hospital. Accompanied by the team, you will learn and put into practice development, architecture, and software quality standards.

As part of your objectives, you will centralize all DPI billing rules in a common tool.

You will remove all rules in third-party systems.

You will rationalize the associated maintenance and facilitate changes in the price catalogue.

You will enable super-users to model billing rules.

You will set up a monitoring dashboard for service volumes.

You possess a Gymnasiale Maturity or a diploma deemed equivalent, and you have an interest in information and communication systems. You wish to pursue a Bachelor in IT and communication systems and must complete a preliminary internship for admission to HEPIA.

No previous professional experience is required. This internship is intended for a person wishing to discover the IT sector in a professional environment in order to acquire a first practical experience before starting higher studies in IT.

You are familiar with the fundamental principles of programming and have completed various personal or school projects using a common language (e.g., Python, C, Java). You know how to demonstrate autonomy in researching and finding the resources necessary to carry out your projects.

You are motivated by the idea of familiarizing yourself with the methods and tools of the professional world in order to develop new skills and consolidate your knowledge.

You demonstrate organization, curiosity, good interpersonal skills, and autonomy in searching for solutions. You also demonstrate a spirit of initiative and wish to make use of your skills in a technical and stimulating environment.
