What you can accomplish ##

• Develop innovative embedded software solutions for demanding medical technology applications that are critical in terms of security
• Analyze system requirements and derive technical specifications as well as future-oriented software architectures
• Implement, verify, and validate software in accordance with the EN 62304 standard and support it throughout the development cycle
• Contribute to the cybersecurity strategy of our products and participate in the development of secure and compliant solutions
• Perform cybersecurity risk analyses, define appropriate protection measures, and support their technical implementation
• Advance the development of our CI/CD environment and optimize build, test, and deployment processes
• Collaborate interdisciplinary with system architecture, hardware development, and other departments to realize innovative solutions
• Bring your expertise to technical concepts, architectural decisions, and modern development methods
• Perform software reviews and ensure the highest standards of quality and security with the team
• Create and maintain technical software documentation while taking regulatory requirements into account

What characterizes you ##

• Completed degree in electronics, software engineering, systems engineering, medical technology, or a comparable field
• Proven experience in software development, ideally in the embedded field
• Very good knowledge of C++ or Rust
• Experience in API development for IoT connectivity as well as in hardening measures such as Secure Boot
• Experience in cybersecurity management for embedded systems
• In-depth knowledge of Embedded Linux, ideally Yocto
• Mastery of CI/CD pipelines, container technologies, and Git
• Autonomous, structured, and responsible way of working
• Good English skills, both oral and written
• Ideally, you already possess knowledge in fuzzing and penetration testing
• Experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban completes your profile
