Senior Backend Java Developer with DevOps know-how (80-100%)

Tasks Together with your team, you translate functional requirements into reliable business logic, develop interfaces, and automate administrative processes. You accompany new functions from analysis and conception through code reviews and automated tests to deployment. In doing so, you ensure stable, secure, and high-performance applications with your team. With your DevOps understanding, you look beyond the code. You further develop our CI/CD pipelines, contribute your know-how in the areas of containerization and deployment, and work closely with software development, architecture, and operations. In this way, you actively help shape our development and operating environment and take responsibility for your solutions throughout the entire lifecycle. Requirements Several years of experience in Java backend development (Jakarta EE with Quarkus) as well as sound knowledge of relational databases (Postgres), SQL, and Git A solid education in computer science (eidg. Fachausweis/-Diplom, HF, FH, Uni or comparable) Sound knowledge in the development of complex business logic, interfaces, and automated tests Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern development tools Sound knowledge of cloud hosting, such as OpenShift or Kubernetes Experience with GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Sonar or comparable tools German language skills at least at B2 level in speaking and writing Strong initiative and high willingness to learn Competent and efficient approach to solving challenges Confident manner, responsible, resilient, and high-performing Impeccable reputation
