The Hochschule Luzern – Rektorat und Hochschuldienste supports the six departments of Technik & Architektur, Wirtschaft, Informatik, Soziale Arbeit, Design Film Kunst, as well as Musik in university operations with its departments and organizes and participates in a versatile manner.

The central task of the Application Development Team is the support of the business applications. This includes external systems as well as in-house and further developments. The clientele consists of the six departments, the Direktion, as well as the Bereich Rektorat und Hochschuldienste.

Full-Stack Application Developer 80 - 100 %

Your tasks

• Realization of web-based software solutions from analysis to successful commissioning and maintenance
• Analysis of customer requirements
• Collaboration on effort estimations
• Development of frontend apps (with [missing] and RESTful APIs in the backend (with .NET)
• Containerization and orchestration of applications with Kubernetes

Your profile

• Completion of vocational training in the field of application development
• Training (HF/FH/Uni) in the field of computer science is an advantage
• Several years of experience in development with modern JavaScript frameworks ([missing] is an advantage), REST APIs (preferably in .NET), as well as database design
• Knowledge in deployment, operation, and troubleshooting of applications in Kubernetes environments
• Practical experience in the construction and operation of DevOps pipelines
• Experience with agile methods and corresponding tooling landscape
• Readiness to acquire any missing knowledge "on the job"
• Good oral and written knowledge in German and English
• Independent working style as well as high customer and service orientation
