We are looking for a: Software Engineer -- OpenSource (C++) Context: At Infomaniak, open source is at the heart of our products, and we want to be an active contributor. You will work daily on a large-scale European open source project, exchanging directly with its maintainers and its community. Your responsibilities: * Upstream contribution: Design and propose concrete contributions to the project (fixes, features, refactoring), and lead them to the merge by exchanging with the maintainers and the community. * Project security: Identify and correct vulnerabilities in C++ and server components (parsing of complex formats, memory management, isolation of processes) * Production exploitation: Work with our DevOps team to deploy, monitor and evolve applications * kSuite integration: Collaborate with the kSuite teams for the proper integration of the project within the kSuite ecosystem * Sharing: Document, share your best practices and represent Infomaniak in the community (issues, reviews, exchanges..) The profile that makes us vibrate: * Experience in C++, and comfortable diving into a large and historical codebase. * Security is part of your way of coding: you think secure by design from the conception, and you know how to tool it in a modern flow * Contributions to large-scale open source projects, with a taste for exchanging, convincing and advancing a collective project. * Appetite for infrastructure: Linux, containers, and understanding of what a critical service in production implies. * General technical curiosity: moving from C++ to or to JavaScript when necessary * Autonomy and sense of responsibility: you know how to move forward alone on a subject while relying on a team.
