Solution Architect / Teamlead Software Development - Real Estate Platform (f/m/x, 80-100%)

To support the next growth phase, we are looking for a Solution Architect / Teamlead Software Development who will drive the technical vision, engineering excellence, and implementation within our real estate development team. In this role, you will combine technical leadership with people management. You will work closely with teams from Product Management, Design, and other business stakeholders to continuously develop the product and actively shape the future of the leading Swiss real estate marketplace. Your tasks You will lead and support the engineers working on our real estate platform - across two development teams. You will define the technical direction of the product, ensure a consistent architecture, and close coordination between the two teams. You will drive the modernization of our technology stack, including the migration of existing monolithic applications to a cloud-native architecture. You will work closely with Product Management, Design, and other engineering teams to bring feature development, technical improvements, and operational stability into harmony. You will identify technical risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks early on and support the teams in finding suitable solutions. You will recruit, coach, and develop engineers and promote their professional and personal development. You will take responsibility for important technical decisions and product-wide initiatives. You will represent engineering to Product Management and senior business stakeholders. You have proven experience in leading software development teams - including recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and performance management. You have experience with large, heavily frequented, and user-oriented software platforms where multiple teams work together. You have in-depth knowledge of software architecture and system design and make balanced decisions between product development, technical debt reduction, and long-term platform investments. You work closely with product managers and business stakeholders, communicate clearly, and create cross-functional alignment. You have practical experience in software development, like to stay close to technology and code, and support your team technically as needed. You have experience with modern cloud-native technologies and platforms (e.g., Azure and Kubernetes). Knowledge of .NET and React/Next.js is a plus. You have experience with agile coding or are willing to integrate AI-supported software development practices into your daily work. You communicate fluently in English.
