What awaits you ##

As part of the Gold team, you will develop robust backend solutions for the Asset Management data platform. You will combine position, market, and transaction data from different systems, thereby creating the foundation for reliable data products, reports, and analyses. In our international, agilely working team, you will contribute with a high awareness of quality to ensure the future viability of our products.

What you achieve with us ##

In this role, you will design, develop, and operate our Python- and SQL-based data pipelines on Databricks and Azure. In doing so, you are responsible for stable and high-performance solutions for loading paths, validation, and transformation throughout the entire lifecycle - according to the principle "you build it, you run it". Additionally, you will help to optimize common standards, for example for Data Governance and Data Lineage.

As an experienced developer personality, you actively share your knowledge and strengthen the engineering competence in the team through code reviews and professional exchange. If interested and appropriately qualified, you can gradually take on technical responsibility in the areas of technology, quality, or security - for example as a Quality Engineer, Security Ambassador, or in Solution Design and the further development of the technical vision.

What you bring with you ##

• Several years of experience in backend development with Python as well as sound understanding of software architecture, object-oriented development, design patterns, and automated testing
• Practical experience in Data Engineering with data-intensive systems, especially with PySpark, SQL, and Lakehouse technologies
• Experience in the design and operation of productive data pipelines including orchestration, monitoring, alerting, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of the interaction between distributed systems, applications, and data flows, as well as experience with the integration of components in heterogeneous system landscapes
• Confident handling of Git, GitLab CI/CD, and cloud environments (Azure an advantage)
• Analytical, structured, and implementation-oriented way of working as well as a high affinity for automation
• Communicative and open personality with enjoyment of professional exchange and cooperation in an international team
• Fluent German and good English skills for collaboration with our team members in Vietnam
• Experience in the finance or asset management environment is a plus
